Common Room Pricing 2026: Who Should Pay $2,500 a Month

In short

Common Room's pricing starts at $2,500 a month for Essential, billed annually, which is $30,000 a year. It includes 5 seats, up to 100,000 contacts, 5,000 RoomieAI research credits and 2,500 Prospector credits. Advanced and Enterprise are custom-priced, and the pricing page lists no free plan. A small team can track community signals with free tools and plans under $50 a month.

What does Common Room cost in 2026?

Common Room's cheapest plan, Essential, costs $2,500 a month billed annually, according to its pricing page on 20 October 2026. That is $30,000 a year (12 × $2,500), or $500 a month for each of the five included seats. Advanced and Enterprise are custom-priced, every plan asks you to request a demo, and the page lists no free plan or trial.

The page's notes add three things. More seats and contacts can be bought, more integrations are available as add-ons, and person-level website identification is powered by Vector and covers U.S. visitors only, with unlimited identification sold as an add-on on Essential and Advanced.

What do Common Room's plans include beyond the numbers?

Most features sit on every plan; the plans differ in volume, a few add-ons and support. All three list RoomieAI (Activate, Capture, Research and Messages), Person360, Buying Committee, AI Scoring, Spark notifications and briefs, job change tracking, custom signals, social and community engagement, unlimited alerts, workflows and segments, custom reports, webhooks, a Chrome extension and Common Room's MCP server.

The differences that matter for a small team:

  • Product signals: not on Essential, an add-on on Advanced, included on Enterprise.
  • Data exports: in-product and auto-recurring exports are add-ons on Essential and Advanced, included on Enterprise.
  • CLI: listed on Advanced and Enterprise only.
  • Implementation: a Starter package on Essential, Core on Advanced and Premier on Enterprise.

Custom signals let you add your own data via CSV, Google Sheets, Zapier or API, according to the page's tooltip. Its FAQ says every plan connects to your CRM, your sales engagement platform and Slack.

How has Common Room's pricing changed since 2024?

The entry price has risen about sixfold in under three years, and the free plan is gone. Archived copies of the same pricing page show the change:

SnapshotLowest paid planPriceSeatsFree option

20 October 2026 (live page)Essential$2,500 a month, billed annually5None listed

The ratio is $2,500 ÷ $430, about 5.8. The plans are not like for like: the 2024 Team plan was measured in enriched accounts (up to 1,000), while today's plans count contacts. The May 2025 Team plan, starting at $2,500 a month with 5 seats and up to 100,000 contacts, matches today's Essential on price, seats and contacts.

The owner has changed too. In a post dated 16 September 2026, Common Room's CEO and co-founder Linda Lian lists "Zoom acquired Common Room" among recent deals in the market, and the site header now reads Common Room by Zoom.

Who is Common Room built for?

Common Room's own pages point to go-to-market teams with several sellers and many data sources. Its pricing FAQ describes Advanced as for teams ready to scale outbound and Enterprise as for complex GTM organisations, and its solutions menu lists ABM, demand generation, RevOps, account executives and SDRs.

Community is one source among many. Its integrations page lists, among others:

  • Chat: Slack (new members and messages in public channels) and Discord (messages and replies in public channels).
  • Developer: GitHub (contributors, comments, pull requests, starred repos and issues) and Stack Overflow.
  • Forums and content: Discourse, Reddit (subreddits by keyword) and YouTube.
  • Social: X (mentions, replies and retweets for handles, hashtags and keywords) and LinkedIn (posts, comments and reactions on your own LinkedIn page).

In our view, Essential pays off when three things are true: signals arrive faster than one person can review them, several reps need them routed into a CRM and a sales engagement tool, and someone owns the setup. A founder-led team of one to five people rarely meets all three.

What are the cheaper ways to get community signals?

Start with the signals you already own, then pay for alerts on public communities. A team of one to five can cover the main sources for about $10 to $60 a month. Prices below were checked on each vendor's page on 20 October 2026.

GitHub's guidance is on its stars page and the starring API reference. Syften offers a 14-day trial of its PRO plan, $119.95 a month, with no card.

For the last row, Siela's AI SDR tracks keywords and competitors on LinkedIn and X, so people who post about or engage with them become leads. Each lead is scored hot, warm or cold with a one-line reason and saved to its CRM. Our guide to buying signals for small teams covers the non-community triggers, such as job changes and hiring.

A community-signal routine for under $60 a month

Here is a routine we suggest for a team of one to five. It costs $59.94 a month with F5Bot Silver and Syften Standard ($9.99 + $49.95), which is $719.28 a year, or 2.4% of Common Room Essential's $30,000.

  1. Set up keyword alerts

Start F5Bot Silver ($9.99 a month) with your brand, two or three competitors and the plain words buyers use for your problem, within its 20 keywords. Bookmark your repo's stargazers page and pin your community's welcome and help channels.

    One hour, once
  2. Add a second listener if F5Bot misses your buyers

F5Bot covers Reddit, Hacker News and Lobsters. If your buyers talk in forums, Stack Exchange or Slack communities, add Syften Entry ($29.95) or Standard ($49.95).

    After week one
  3. Log every signal with a reason

One row per person: name, where you saw them, what they said or did, the date and your next step. A signal without a written reason is hard to act on later.

    Daily, 15 minutes
  4. Reply in public before you message

Answer the question in the thread or channel where it was asked. Message the person only if the reply opens a conversation.

    Our advice
  5. Review sources on Friday

Count which sources led to conversations. Drop keywords that only produce noise and add the words people actually used.

    Weekly, 20 minutes

When should a small team move up to Common Room?

Move up when the manual routine stops keeping pace. Our checklist:

  • Volume: your log has more signals each week than one person can act on.
  • Routing: several reps need signals pushed into a CRM and a sales engagement tool, with owners assigned.
  • Joined-up data: you want community activity matched to website visits and enrichment. Essential identifies up to 1,000 U.S. visitors a month; product signals need Advanced, as an add-on, or Enterprise.
  • Budget: you can commit to at least $30,000 a year, billed annually.
  • Ownership: someone will set up integrations, scoring and workflows, and keep them clean.

If you tick three or more, check your sources against the Essential filter on Common Room's integrations page, which the pricing page links from Select integrations, then book the demo and ask which of your sources cost extra.

Frequently asked questions

It includes 5 seats, up to 100,000 contacts, 5,000 RoomieAI research credits and 2,500 Prospector credits. Zoom. In a blog post dated 16 September 2026, Common Room's CEO and co-founder Linda Lian wrote that Zoom acquired Common Room, and the site header now reads Common Room by Zoom. Common Room's pricing page also links to separate pricing for Zoom Revenue Accelerator, which that page describes as customer insights and analytics from your customer interactions.

What are community signals?

Community signals are actions people take in public or member spaces that suggest interest in your product or the problem it solves. Examples are joining your Slack or Discord, asking a question in a forum, starring your GitHub repository, or mentioning you or a competitor on Reddit, Hacker News, LinkedIn or X. They show who is paying attention before anyone fills in a form.

What is a cheaper alternative to Common Room for Reddit monitoring?

F5Bot monitors Reddit, Hacker News and Lobsters for your keywords and emails you alerts. Its free tier is for personal use only, with 5 keywords. Silver costs $9.99 a month or $109 a year for 20 keywords, and Gold $49.99 a month for 200 keywords with Slack and Discord alerts. Syften covers Reddit plus forums, Stack Exchange and GitHub from $29.95 a month.
