Most replies come from the follow-ups, not the first email. These cover every point where a conversation goes quiet, with the timing that works for each.
A good follow-up email after no response is short, adds something new rather than repeating the first email, and makes replying easy. Send the first follow-up two to three days later, the second about a week after that, then a polite breakup email. After a meeting or proposal, follow up within a day, then a week later.
Replace everything in {braces}. Use them as they are, or as a starting point in your own voice.

The Northwind call just ended, take it from here.

Two or three, each adding something new, then a polite breakup email. Past that, more emails rarely get replies and can cost you goodwill.
Keep it shorter than the first email, add something useful each time, reply in the same thread and make it easy to say no. Our blog post on following up without being annoying covers eight rules.
A final, polite email saying you'll stop following up and how to restart the conversation later. It often gets more replies than earlier follow-ups because it's easy to answer.
