AI SDR

An AI SDR that turns buying signals into sales meetings.

Siela's AI SDR does the work of a sales development rep for teams that don't have one. It finds people who fit your customer and show a fresh reason to buy, writes to each one on LinkedIn, X and email from your own accounts, follows up, and shares your booking link once someone is ready to talk. In the Siela app, you'll find it as Lead Finder.

What Siela's AI SDR does

An AI SDR (AI sales development representative) does the top of the sales funnel for you: it finds prospects who fit your ideal customer, checks them for signs they're ready to buy, sends the first messages and follow-ups, and moves interested people to a meeting. Siela's AI SDR does this on LinkedIn, X and email.

  • Reads your website. Paste it in and the AI SDR suggests who to reach: roles, industries, company sizes and locations. You check the form and press start.
  • Looks for a reason to reach out now. It works out which signals matter for what you sell, such as people asking how to solve the problem you solve, comparing tools, hiring for the work you automate, changing role or raising money. It can also track keywords and competitors on LinkedIn and X, so people engaging with them become leads.
  • Scores every lead. Each person is marked hot, warm or cold with a one-line reason tied to fit, intent, how recent the signal is and how likely they are to reply.
  • Reaches out, or just builds the list. Choose "Find leads and reach out" or "Find leads only". With find only, everyone is saved to your CRM and nothing is sent.

Why the right people say yes

Nobody can promise a connection request will be accepted. What raises the odds is reaching fewer, better people at the right moment, with a first message that is clearly about them. That is what the AI SDR is built to do.

  • Only people who fit. Roles, industries, company size, company type and locations from your setup, plus exclusions such as recruiters, freelancers, consultants, students and Open to Work profiles. Name competitors or keywords to skip, and anyone mentioning them is left out.
  • Hot leads first. Choose Hot leads and it only contacts people with a buying signal right now. Normal, the default, starts with hot leads, then adds everyone who fits your customer profile, and still skips people who don't fit. Daily goals are targets, not quotas: if only 22 people are genuinely strong today, it contacts 22.
  • A note about them, not about you. Each LinkedIn and X message is written for that person from their profile and the signal that surfaced them, then checked by a second AI reviewer before it is sent.
  • Connect first if you prefer. Send the message with the connection request, or connect first and let it write once they accept. Neither needs LinkedIn Premium or InMail.
  • From your own account, at a human pace. LinkedIn and X run in the browser you signed in to yourself, in the Siela desktop app, up to the daily goal you set.
“It finds the right people, sends the connection requests and writes the messages from my account, and more people seem to accept now. I used to spend my evenings doing this by hand.”Shradha Mathur, Head of Growth, Opensphere

LinkedIn, X and email

  • LinkedIn. Up to 50 people a day, from your own signed-in account. Runs while the Siela desktop app is open.
  • X. Up to 50 people a day, by DM from your own account. It can also find people by what their X bio says. Runs while the desktop app is open.
  • Email. Finds each person's work email, verifies it, and emails only the addresses that are deliverable. You write the first email once (Siela drafts it from your goal) and it fills in each person's name, company and title. A Gmail mailbox sends up to 150 a day, two to five minutes apart, and email works with your laptop closed.

After the first touch, AI follow-ups carry each conversation: when someone accepts, it reads their profile again and picks up from your note instead of introducing you twice. It stops when they book, say yes, say no or ask you to stop.

AI SDR or human SDR?

A human SDR is still better at calls and multi-threaded enterprise deals. An AI SDR covers the steady, repeatable part: research, first touches and follow-ups that never slip. For a small team that never had an SDR, that is often the part not getting done at all, and the AI SDR hands you the conversations worth taking.

What you control

The AI SDR sends on its own once you press Save and start, inside the limits you set:

  • who it looks for, and who it must skip;
  • which leads it finds: only hot leads, or hot leads first and then everyone who fits;
  • which channels it uses, and the daily goal for each;
  • the goal of the conversation: start one, book a demo, or your own;
  • your tone, your first email, and whether it follows up at all.

Want the list without any messages? Choose "Find leads only". Every lead is saved to your CRM with the reason it was picked, so you can see exactly who it found and why.

How it works

  1. Paste your website

    The AI SDR reads it and suggests who to reach. Edit the roles, industries, sizes and locations.

  2. Choose which leads

    Hot leads only, or Normal: hot leads first, then everyone who fits. Plus the signals, keywords and competitors to track.

  3. Pick channels and goal

    LinkedIn, X or email, the daily pace, the goal, your tone and your first email.

  4. It finds and reaches out

    Fresh leads every day, each scored and saved to your CRM, with follow-ups in each conversation.

CRM and booking come built in

Nothing needs buying or connecting first. The work lands in tools that come with Siela, and every agent can read and write to them from the first minute:

  • CRM: contacts and companies, a visual pipeline, and every lead the AI SDR saves, with the reason it was picked.
  • Calendar and booking: booking pages you can share, slots checked against every connected calendar, and reminders to both sides.
  • Business memory: your brand voice, product facts, people and past work, read by every agent before it writes.

Questions

Can an AI SDR replace a human SDR?

For a small team without one, it covers the repeatable work: research, first touches and follow-ups. A person still takes the calls and the judgement on bigger deals.

How does the AI SDR decide who to contact?

It matches the roles, industries, company sizes and locations in your setup, removes anyone you excluded, and looks for fresh buying signals such as a new role, new funding, hiring, posts about the problem you solve, or engagement with a competitor. Each lead is scored hot, warm or cold with a one-line reason, and with Hot leads selected it only contacts people with a buying signal right now.

Will people accept my connection requests?

No tool can promise that. The AI SDR improves the odds by contacting fewer people who fit and have a recent reason to talk, writing each note from their profile and that signal, and sending from your own account at a human pace. You can also connect first and send the message once they accept.

Does it send messages on its own?

Yes, once you press Save and start, within the daily goal you set for each channel. Every LinkedIn and X message is checked by a second AI reviewer before it goes out. If you want the list and no messages, choose Find leads only.

Do I need LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator?

No. Connection requests and messages work without Premium or InMail, from the LinkedIn account you sign in to yourself in the Siela desktop app.

Does it work when my laptop is closed?

Research and email outreach do. LinkedIn and X work in your own signed-in browser, so they run while the Siela desktop app is open.

Where do the leads go?

Into Siela's built-in CRM, each with the reason it was picked, and each run gets its own group. If you use HubSpot or Salesforce, you can connect them.

Is this the same as Lead Finder in the app?

Yes. In the Siela app, the AI SDR appears as Lead Finder, with the same setup, signals and channels described on this page.
