Privacy Policy

What Siela collects, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted — on this website and in the Siela workspace.

Last updated 30 September 2026

Scope and responsibility

This Privacy Policy describes how the Siela project handles personal information through the Siela website, hosted workspace, and related support channels. It does not automatically govern a self-hosted deployment controlled by another organization.

In a customer workspace, the customer organization generally decides why its business data is processed. Siela processes that workspace data to provide the service and follow the customer's instructions.

This website

Two forms on this website collect personal information, and only when you choose to fill them in: the contact form on the homepage and the waitlist form. Between them they ask for your name, work email, company, team size, and whatever you write in the message.

Those messages are delivered by FormSubmit, a form-delivery service in the United States, which passes them to our inbox. We use what you send to reply to you and, for the waitlist, to contact you about early access. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking.

Browsing the rest of the site collects nothing. Pages are served by Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived technical logs to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

To see, correct or delete anything you have sent us, write to us through the contact form.

Information Siela handles

Account and contact information

Names, email addresses, authentication details, workspace membership, role information, and support communications.

Workspace and business information

CRM contacts, companies, pipeline records, customer notes, team activity, tasks, projects, approvals, reminders, documents, and other content added to a Siela workspace.

Meetings, voice, and communications

Meeting audio captured after a user starts recording, transcripts, summaries, decisions, action items, dictation, emails, calendar events, and connected communication history.

Technical information

Device and browser information, security events, session data, diagnostics, and logs needed to operate and protect the service.

How information is used

  • Provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot Siela.
  • Retrieve shared context and carry authorized work across Siela products.
  • Transcribe meetings, generate requested outputs, and perform approved agent actions.
  • Connect services selected by a workspace user or administrator.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and security enquiries.
  • Meet legal obligations and prevent misuse.

AI processing and model training

Siela does not use customer data to train AI models. When a user requests an AI feature, Siela may send the minimum relevant content to an AI or transcription provider configured for that feature so it can complete the requested task.

The provider and deployment method may differ between hosted, customer-configured, and self-hosted installations. Siela will maintain a current list of subprocessors before general availability.

When information is shared

Siela may share information with:

  • Infrastructure, storage, transcription, AI, security, and support providers that help deliver the service.
  • Third-party services that a user deliberately connects, such as email, calendar, file, messaging, or automation services.
  • Workspace administrators and authorized members according to their roles.
  • Authorities when disclosure is legally required, or when necessary to protect users, the service, or others.

Siela does not sell customer personal information.

Meeting recording and consent

Siela does not automatically record every meeting. A user must start capture. The user and customer organization are responsible for giving any required notice and obtaining consent from meeting participants before recording or transcribing a conversation.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and workspace data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide Siela. If you close your account or request deletion of your personal data, we will delete or anonymize eligible personal data from our active production systems within a reasonable period, subject to data we need to retain for security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations.

Meeting recordings and transcripts are stored to provide the features you use. When you delete this content or close your account, it will be removed from active production systems as part of our deletion process. Copies may remain temporarily in backups or with service providers until their normal retention and backup cycles complete. We currently do not guarantee a specific timeframe for deletion from backups.

Deletion and privacy requests can be sent through the contact form. Workspace data requests may need to be handled by the organization that controls the workspace. Retention may also depend on connected third-party services and whether a customer uses a hosted or self-hosted deployment.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies. It stores nothing on your device, uses no advertising cookies, and carries no analytics or tracking scripts of any kind.

If visitor analytics are added later, a consent panel will appear first. Nothing that counts or identifies you will run unless you accept it, refusing is remembered, and you can change your answer at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer. Only the record of that choice is kept, on your own device.

The Siela application at dashboard.siela.in uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your account. Those are required for it to work and are not used to track you across other sites.

Security

Siela uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, secure session handling, and protected storage and transport. No system can guarantee absolute security. Suspected security issues can be reported through the contact form.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

Requests can be sent through the contact form. Workspace data requests may need to be handled by the organization that controls the workspace.

Contact and changes

Privacy questions and requests can be sent through the contact form.

This policy may change as Siela develops. Material changes will be reflected by a new last-updated date and, when appropriate, an additional notice.
